Renewal of Vows

A renewing of your vows ceremony is a fabulous way to commemorate a love that has deepened or matured between a couple.

A vow renewal ceremony is not meant to be a second wedding (and as such, is not legally binding). Instead, it is meant to be a more personalised and intimate affair to be celebrated with close friends and family.

Some couples decide to renew their vows after they’ve had children, after a difficult period in the relationship, or after an important milestone. Vow renewals are often conducted at intervals of 5, 10, 25, or 50 years, but couples can have one anytime they want. During the ceremony, two people declare their continued love for one another – they can revisit their original vows/affirmations, add to to them, or create completely new ones on how they will continue to spend the rest of their lives together. You can also exchange your original wedding rings or create a fabulous excuse to buy additional ones!

Whatever the situation, it is important enough for the married couple to hold the renewal, which I can coordinate into a rather large event or a small intimate one, whichever suits your needs.

Renewal of your vows ceremony can also be organised as a surprise for your guests, if you wish!
